The holiday eating season kicks into high gear with the Thanksgiving feast. Whet your appetite, or avoid the kitchen completely with everything from holiday buffets to full take-home meals at restaurants and resorts all over town.

Takeout meals may have specific order deadlines and pickup times, and reservations are strongly recommended for dining in. Children’s menus and additional items may also be available; be sure to check with individual venues for details. Prices generally exclude tax and gratuity.

Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery/Bistro — 5845 N. Oracle Road. “Everything but the turkey.” Items include: toasted stuffing cubes, sausage stuffing, dinner rolls, pumpkin, pecan and apple pies and pumpkin dulce de leche cake. Brushfire BBQ —  Meals serve eight to 14 people; prices range from $44.99 for smoked whole turkey to $120.99 for whole smoked “Tur-Duck-Hen.” 2745 N. Campbell Ave., 624-3223; 7080 E. 22nd St., 867-6050. Order at either location by Nov. 23; must pick up on Nov. 27. Both closed Thanksgiving Day.

JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa — 3800 W. Starr Pass Blvd. Two options for takeout: Cornish game hen dinner feeds two to four for $140, or roasted turkey dinner feeds six to eight for $210.
