Some of Tucson's most inspiring chefs will face off in the 2013 Iron Chef Tucson competition in July.
Get a sneak peak at the competition tonight during the "Meet The Chefs" event at Lodge on the Desert, 306 N. Alvernon Way.
It's from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the cost is $5 per couple or $3 per person.All proceeds benefit the Tucson Advertising Federation Educational Foundation.
In addition to meeting the chefs, you can sample their artistry and vote on your faves.
This year's contenders: Chef Jesse Bright, Social House Kitchen & Pub; Chef Michael Bujold, The Steakhouse at Desert Diamond Casino; Chef Armando Duarte, Royal Cafe; Chef August Ench, Dakota Cafe; Chef Tyler Fenton, chef/owner Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink; Chef David Ferrara,Fire & Spice at Sheraton; Chef Wendy Gauthier, chef/owner Chef Chic; Chef Redman Jarrell, V Modern Thai; Chef Michael McCord, RJ's Replays; Chef Guillermo Ortiz, Sam-Witches and Such; Chef Brittany Palmer, Agustin Brasserie; Chef Pascual Rodriguez, Agave at Desert Diamond Casino; Chef Frederick Truong, Linh-Nam Chinese Restaurant; and two-time reigning champ Chef Ryan Clark, Lodge on the Desert.
