Comedian Richard Lewis will join a live variety radio show here with Tucson Rabbi Sam Cohon.


Comedian Richard Lewis will help Tucson's Rabbi Sam Cohon celebrate the 10th anniversary of Cohon's "Too Jewish" radio program with a live variety show broadcast from the Fox Tucson Theatre on March 2.

Other guests will include Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, Congressman Ron Barber, the Avanim Rock Band and Boreas, among others.

The fast-paced weekly radio show tackles contemporary Jewish life through music, arts, culture, comedy and inspiration. Over the years Cohon, senior rabbi at Temple Emanu-El, has featured a host of star-studded guests, including Neil Sedaka, Kinky Friedman, Elie Wiesel, Lily Tomlin, Peter Yarrow, Nina Totenberg, Eve Ensler, Russ Feingold, Rabbi Harold Kushner, Gabrielle Giffords, Matisyahu and Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.
