Some of Tucson's brightest hip-hop/R&B artists are joining rhymes on Saturday, Oct. 7, to benefit victims of Hurricane Maria.

Marley B, Jae Tilt, EZ Goin, Woodro, Elias, Doni and Epic Norlan will share the Club Congress stage. DJ Ripdee will host the all-ages show and admission is $5 at the door. Proceeds will support the residents of Puerto Rico rebuild after Hurricane Maria on Sept. 20 destroyed countless communities, knocking out power and communications grids.

At least 90 percent of the island remains without power and half without water, according to a report in the Washington Post.

Saturday's event starts at 7 at Club Congress, 311 E. Congress St. Click here for details.
