Take advantage of the cooler morning weather and support a good cause by participating in The Great Pumpkin Race, Sunday, October 16 at Buckelew Farms, 17000 W. Ajo Hwy.  

The Great Pumpkin Race, which benefits the U of A Medical Center Departments of Surgery and Neurology, races through the farm, and includes portions of the corn maze.  This is a 5k, cross-country style race for all levels of runners, and starts at 7:30 a.m.  

Bring the whole family to enjoy free entry into the farm, pumpkin carving, crafts and other activities.

Race fees are $10 SAR members if you register today, $12 all others, by today and $15 after today. You can register online with a credit card or at the Running Shop, 3055 N. Campbell Ste. 153 on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3. p.m.  You can also register on race day between 6:15 and 7:15 a.m.
