This big, good-looking guy is one of the adoptable animals you could meet at an arts and crafts fair hosted by Art Attack Promotions this weekend.

The event runs  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Sunday at the Marana Marketplace, at the corner of Orange Grove and Thornydale roads.

Donations of unopened pet food and money will be given to local animal charities.

Atlas, a year-old Shar Pei mix, is just one of the great dogs available for adoption at Pima Pima Paws for Life — one of the newest in the Tucson area's growing number of animal rescue groups.

Pima Paws for Life is a private shelter that collaborates with Pima Animal Care Center to broaden the safety net for homeless animals in our community by helping the dogs recover from minor medical issues, get them well and adopt them to their forever homes.  Take a look at the animals in their care at: www.facebook.com/PimaPawsForLife

Pima Paws for Life is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week for adoptions. Find it at 2509-2 W Zinnia Ave (that's in the area of Interstate 10 and Ruthrauff Road). Call 867-1193 for more information
