Swedish clothing retailer H&M is opening a new store at Tucson Mall at noon today.

To celebrate the opening of the 21,000-square-foot store, H&M will offer each of the first 200 shoppers in line a bag with freebies, including a gift card that will range in value from $10 to $300.

H&M, a chain with a strategy of selling high fashion at affordable prices, has about 200 stores in the U.S. and nearly 2,000 stores in about 35 countries.

H&M openings are typically crowded affairs, with long lines. Check out these photos of an H&M store opening in Tokyo.

The two-story H&M at the Tucson Mall, 4500 N. Oracle Road, is near the Cheesecake Factory.

The store will close at 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Regular store hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.
