The three-day extravaganza of culture that explodes throughout downtown during Tucson Meet Yourself can get a tad overwhelming. Don’t get hung up on trying to see (or taste!) it all. This year, many of the performances, though not all, are organized by genre. The schedule that follows tells you where and when you can catch some general sounds, but check out tucsonmeetyourself.org for a more detailed rundown of who’s performing when.

Obviously, Tucson “Eat” Yourself didn’t get its nickname for nothing. With 55 food booths  available , plan accordingly and bring your appetite. Find a complete list of food vendors online. You can also satisfy intellectual cravings at the festival food demonstrations. Get a glimpse into the kitchen and learn some how-tos of cultural cuisine.
