Name: Huey

Breed: Pit Bull Terrier

Age: 3.5 years old

Qualities: Huey is one of four dogs our trainers took for rehabilitation after 65 dogs were seized from a fighting ring in Tennessee. Huey was part of “Operation Broken Chain” — a large scale rescue effort led by the amazing Animal Rescue Corps. Despite his past, he lives in the present and is enjoying everything his new life has to offer with puppy-like enthusiasm. He is comical, lives for toys and is having fun in all the ways he’s discovered since his rescue. Huey is attentive and affectionate, having learned basic obedience and showing great dog social skills potential. Huey is crate-trained, house-trained, neutered, micro-chipped, licensed and up-to-date on vaccines. Huey also comes with LIFE-LONG training and support through Sol.Dog. Huey also has his very own Facebook page at

Needs: Huey would prefer a home without cats.
