“Life and Dreams of the Perla Ravine”

Approximately two dozen volunteers worked together to repaint the 60-foot-long mural, titled “Vida y Sueños de la Cañada Perla,” or “Life and Dreams of the Perla Ravine,” that was originally completed in 2005 on a section of the border wall in Nogales, Sonora. The original piece was worked on by community members on both sides of the border. On Saturday April 19, 2014 the mural was repainted. Photo by: Mamta Popat / Arizona Daily Star
