Story: Lady is sweet and gentle mature dog. Friendly and calm, she has lived with other dogs and children in the past. She is reported to be housetrained and overall a very well-behaved dog. She would do best with a secure yard as she has had containment issues in her previous home.

Fees: Just the standard $17 license fee will apply. Her adoption fee has been waived because of Lady’s extended wait for a family. She will go home with a free vet visit voucher.

Hunter—Siberian Husky

Age: 18 months.

Qualities: Hunter is fun, spunky and ready for a forever home of his own! He likes to sing in the morning and chew on bones. He likes to run and knows basic obedience commands such as sit, down and place. He rides well in the back seat of the car and will settle in at home to cuddle.

Needs: Hunter loves people and has done well with other dogs his size, but a meet and greet is required if going to a home with other dogs. Hunter would prefer a home without cats or small dogs.

Swift—Pit Bull Mix

Age: 1.5 years.

Qualities: Swift is a calm, sweet and cuddly girl who loves people, walks great on a leash and loves to give kisses. Swift loves to show off all her toys one by one! She is very smart, know basic commands and wants to please. Swift is crate and house trained.

Needs: Swift can be a bit selective about her doggy friends so if you have other dogs they need to meet first to be sure everyone will be happy together.

Bucky—Chihuahua mix

Age: 1 year.

Qualities: Little stray Bucky has rediscovered how to have fun! He loves playing with his toys and taking long walks. When tired after all that fun, he’s a great cuddler.

Qualities: Sunny is a young, happy hound with lots of freckles! She came from a farm all the way from Kansas and gets along very well with her foster greyhound siblings. She loves to play with her squeaky toys.

Needs: Sunny would prefer to be in a home with another dog for companionship or someone who is home most of the time.

MONTY—Australian Cattle Dog blend

Age — 1 year 7 months.

Qualities: Monty loves everyone that he meets. He’s a very sweet boy who would like a yard to play in, but also wants plenty of people attention. Monty loves company—he’s not a fan of being alone. If you already have a dog, Monty would love a meet and greet.

Qualities: Jerry and Oreo are bonded males who came from the same household. These handsome boys are very sweet and loving, they enjoy attention, and playing and relaxing in the enclosed patio. This pair would make excellent companions, they love their human friends, yet they know the importance of cat naps.

Need: Jerry and Oreo tested positive for FeLV and will need to live in a home with no other cats or with another FeLV positive cat.

Stuart—Domestic Shorthair Mix

Age: 1 year, 8 months

Story: Stuart is a playful cat who loves catnip and chasing lasers. He was surrendered to PACC when his owner moved into assisted living and could no longer care for him. Although he was a bit scared at first, Stuart has really come out of his shell and is looking for his forever home! Stuart would do best in a home without small children.

Fee: $30, and like all PACC pets, he will go home with all of his shots, a microchip and a free vet visit voucher.

Dreamsicle—orange tabby

Age: 2 years.

Qualities: As sweet as the icecream confection, Dreamsicle loves being petted and will turn on a purr like no other. I like cats and kittens but am not sure about “little people.”

Needs: A bit shy at first, he will warm up and show his gratitude for being adopted.

Needs: He is ready for a perfect indoor-only home now.

Ruby Rose—Domestic shorthair

Age: 9 months.

Qualities: Ruby Rose is “fearless” (except for the vacuum cleaner), outgoing, curious about everything, and a very funny, playful teenager. She lived with two dogs and six cats and got along great with them.
