Carol C. Green

Carol Cooke Green of Prescott, AZ, passed away on June 5, 2013. She was born on January 6, 1947 in Tucson, AZ to Doris and Robert Cooke. Carol moved from Tucson to Prescott in 1978 with then-husband Chuck Hiatt and their two daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer. In 1984, Carol married Ron Green. Carol left behind many loving and heartbroken family members and friends. These include her daughters, Stephanie (Bob) La Loggia of Scottsdale, AZ; Jennifer (Brad) Hiatt of Glenwood Springs, CO; stepson, Kevin (Crystal) Green of Tacoma, WA; stepdaughter, Jessi (Dustin) Stocco of Auburn, WA and her grandchildren, Alexandra, Bronwyn, Birtie, Alyssa and Cole. Carol is also survived by her sisters, Stephanie (Henk) Vigeveno of San Diego, CA, Judy (Buz) Davies of Prescott, AZ and Nancy (Tom) Kosser of New Braunfels, TX and Carol's husband of 28 wonderful years, Ron. In 1981 Carol became a Registered Nurse working in medical/surgical, home health, physicians' offices, and dialysis ending her nursing career at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. Carol was very proud of her work and the care she provided, and enjoyed working with many of Prescott's health care professionals over the years. Carol's passions included spending as much time as she could with her children, stepchildren and grandchildren as well as sewing, and reading. She was also an avid and knowledgeable sports fan, particularly when it came to the Arizona Diamondbacks, the University of Arizona Wildcats and the Arizona State Sun Devils basketball teams. Carol's ideals, spirit, and enthusiasm were contagious. Our joyful memories will never be forgotten and her love will always be felt. There will be no services. Carol desired only that her family gather soon, to be cheerful in our memories and to treasure the love we have for each other.
