Concepcion Martinez Ruiz

was born in El Paso, TX, December 2, 1926 passed away September 11, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Jose and Tomasa (Reyes) Martinez; sisters, Victoria, Josie, Lucia and Martina; brother, Aurelio; loving companion of 12 years, Juan Acuna; son, Humberto; grandson, Florentino Cota. Survived by daughters, Frances, Molly, Elena, Dahlia, Ofelia (Ray) and Lola (Mark); sons, Alex, Frank, Arturo and Felipe Ruiz; sister, Yesidra (Jimmy) Peralta; brothers, Jose C., Dionisio (Celina), Jose D. (Eva), Florentino (Jackie), Rodrigo Martinez; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She volunteered at Richey, was a blue bird leader, a catechism teacher at Santa Rosa, a member of Legion of Mary, a cook at Santa Rosa, Pascua day care center and Pueblo Day Care center. She loved children, cooking, gardening, crocheting, reading, novellas and going out to eat. All-night vigil at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2013, 2013 at San Ignacio Church, 785 W. Saguaro, Old Pascua with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass given by Father Ricardo, Friday, September 20, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Thanks to Ruth, Betty, Iran, Sharon, Odyssey Hospice Care, and The Pasqua Yaqui Tribe. Loved by many and will be Greatly Missed, We love you Mom/Nana Concha!
