Eileen J. Darton

Forever in our hearts, Mother, Grandmother and Best Friend, Eileen quietly passed away on November 8, 2013, with her beloved daughter, Dianne and her long time friend, Ronnie Spengler, by her side. She is survived by her loving daughter, Dianne M. Bigham-Romero; son-in-law, Richard R.A. Romero; granddaughter, Elizabeth B.A. Romero; grandsons, Andre R.A. Romero and Shaun C.A. Romero and Shaun's wife, Janelle Kennedy Romero and new great-grandson, two month old Ethan. Her twinkling blue eyes, beautiful bright smile, quick wit and good sense of humor spread joy and happiness, making all she came in contact with feeling special. She always believed in following your bliss and never giving up. She'll be remembered as an energetic real estate broker/owner of Realty Investors, who shared her heart and soul with everyone she met. Complete strangers became fast friends. She loved having dinner parties for her clients. They became her friends as if she had known them for her entire life. Eileen was a warm, loving people person, who worked endlessly for her clients, always believing that everyone deserved the best homes for their families. She was a successful real estate broker for over 30 years, thus accumulating a large following of loyal clients. She quickly became known as the "Repo Kid," specializing in selling FHA and VA homes, winning most of the drawings for the bids. She enjoyed traveling to Europe often with her husband, Arthur B. Darton, a successful Architect. Eileen loved and adored her family and is now with the Lord. She will be greatly missed but will stay in our hearts forever. Rosary and Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. There will be a graveside service at Holy Hope Cemetery at 3555 N. Oracle Rd. with a reception following at Coco's Restaurant, 7050 N. Oracle Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gospel Rescue Mission, 318 W. 28th St., Tucson, AZ 85713.
