Elnora L. Bell Hansen-Olsen

passed away on March 25, 2013 after a brief illness. Born September 21, 1913 in Porum, Oklahoma, her family moved to Arizona in 1923. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School and the University of Arizona. After a short time in Chicago she returned to Tucson to work for the Railroad as secretary to the Roundhouse. She loved her dogs and cats, traveling, playing bridge, gardening and entertaining family and friends. Among other organizations Elnora was a member of Pi Beta Phi, UA Alumnae Association, St. Phillips Altar Guild, Tucson Country Club, Desert Club and the Assistance League of Tucson, where she served as President. Predeceased by her parents, Willis and Flora Little; husbands, Merrill Bell (1945) Allen Hansen (1994) and Holden Olsen (2006); brothers-in-law, John and Jay Hansen and her favorite uncle, John Cole. She will be missed by sisters-in-law, Edee Hansen and Harriet Bishop; nieces, Marilyn Hansen, Patricia Leo and numerous other Hansen family members; also by Elnora's daughters by marriage to Holden, Judy Taylor and Kathy Niles, their husbands, children and grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at St. Phillips in the Hills Church, 4440 N. Campbell Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tucson Humane Society or St. Phillips in the Hills Episcopal Church. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
