Frank A. Repovsch, Jr.
My father was born on January 23, 1923; he was 90 years old when he passed away March 27, 2013. He is survived by his son, Gary and his wife, Tessie; his adopted son, Rick; his stepsons, Mark Haushalter, Tim Hamilton (Kate) and his three grandchildren, John, Jessica (Caleb) and Jake. He was predeceased by his youngest son, Frank Jr. My dad taught us all how to work hard, to be polite and respectful to others. He worked for over 30 years as a machinist at AGM Manufacturing in Tucson, Arizona. His greatest impact was in the lives of his grandchildren. He retired at age 65 and began his "new" life as a proud grandfather. He faithfully babysat our kids every Friday night so Tessie and I could have a "date night." Not only were his grandchildren blessed to have that time with him, in so many ways it helped my wife Tessie and I strengthen our marriage and brought us closer. Perhaps the greatest gift my father gave to his family was giving his life to Christ at the age of 88. Choosing Christ changed my father from the inside out; he was never the same again as he poured Christ's love out on so many people at Mountainview retirement home. The past few days have been filled with joy as we have met so many people at Mountainview who have generously shared their stories of a man surrounded by the love of new friends and a caring staff. Words cannot express how thankful Tessie, John, Jessica, Jake and I are to the staff and caregivers at Mountainview; thank you for making the past two years of my father's life so blessed. He loved each of you as if you were part of his family. At my father's request, there will be no formal Funeral Service but he would want everyone to know that he has "risen" with Christ this Easter and for that we are eternally grateful. In lieu of flowers, my father would like to have any donations sent to Corazon Ministries at 1955 W. Grant Rd. Ste. 220, Tucson, AZ 85745. May God bless each of you this Easter. Arrangements by SCIENCE CARE.
