Frankie Lynn Golanski

88, passed away on January 10, 2014. She was born on November 28, 1925 in Waco, Texas. She was survived by one niece, Mary Szymanski; grandnephew, Jason Szymanski and great- grandnephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Jerome C. Golanski; her parents, John W. Davis and Bonnie Smith Davis and one brother, Paul Kenneth Davis. Frankie grew up in Waco, Texas where she met her husband while he was training with the US Army Air Corp in Texas during World War II. Later she and her husband moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin whereas being a loving and caring wife she worked as an accountant for a plumbing company until she retired in 1986 when she and her husband moved to Tucson, AZ. She has been a parishioner at St. Francis De Sales Parish. Frankie was a good neighbor, friend loved by many. She enjoyed crocheting, walking, hiking, golfing, watching baseball and football games. Her favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers and the U of A Wildcats. She was actively involved with the community; she volunteered with the Welcome Wagon and was a member of the Assistance League of Tucson Thrift Shop Chapter House. Viewing will be at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at St Frances De Sales Parish, 1375 S. Camino Seco. Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd.
