"Kittu" 5/21/1919 - 7/27/2014

loved and survived by her daughters, Dorothy and Patty; her son, Bill; her brother, Don and her life partner, Margot Kostenbader. Born in India, to Allen Parker and Irene Glasgow, Kittu graduated from Woodstock School. Her M.Sc. thesis at Univ. of Chicago defined nutritional standards for school lunches. She married Charles Wainwright Riddle (deceased) and they worked as educators in China and India. Her autobiography, "A Nourishing Life", details her many contributions including work on world hunger, sharing women`s lives in over 50 countries in Storyletters and creating Nourishing Space for Women, outside Tucson. A brick paver has been dedicated to her in the Univ. of Arizona`s Women`s Plaza of Honor. Kittu was a remarkable woman who embraced life with joy. She loved hiking and classical music, meditated daily and was loved by persons of all ages. Overton Rd., Tucson where the Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 4:00 p.m.
