Kristy K. Mink
On October 19, 2013, Kristy K. Mink, 55, a strong, beautiful, loving woman was taken from our world unexpectedly. Born February 16, 1958 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Kris was an "army brat" that lived in Nashville, Texas, Washington and France before finally settling in Tucson in 1968. Preceded in death by her parents, Glenn P. Krebbs and Colleen C. Krebbs. Survived by the love of her life, Robert (Bob), and her two loving children her son, Justin Mink and her daughter, Mandy Gracie; son-in-law, Mike and the lights of her life - her grandchildren - Colton and Addy. Survived also by her sisters and brother, Karen, Kathy, Kim, Kelly and Bobby, as well as her cousins, Howell, Ronnie, Diane and several nieces and nephews. Kristy and Bob met in 1985 and they married two years later in 1987. They realized their dreams of success as they founded RJM concrete, Inc. together in 1989. Kris had an incredible zest for life including her love for animals, especially horses (Wrangler) and her dogs. She was a regular contributor to several animal rescues and believed very strongly in their causes. Her career as a bookkeeper kept her counting numbers for several businesses in Tucson. Kris' loyalty and generosity extended not only to family but to her friends as well She shared her special kind of love to all! Whether you knew Kristy as wife, mom, sister, aunt, daughter, friend or most importantly "Nanny"... You knew you were loved! Her amazing and goofy personality enabled her to make anyone laugh, no matter how down they felt. She would give, not only gifts, but her time and wisdom and never expected anything in return. She would go out of her way and help those in need and sacrificed for everyone who knew her. She was taken from us abruptly but we know that she is safe, she is happy, and she is our angel. The best guardian angel that God could give us. A Celebration of Kristy's life will be held at a later date Family and friends will be notified. Contributions in Kristy's memory may be made to The American Heart Association or to the Humane Society of Tucson. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel (742-7901).
