Lori Yeschek

was born July 13, 1954 in Rhinelander, WI. She was adopted by her parents, Robert and Audrey Yeschek three weeks later. Lori was severely handicapped at birth but admirably overcame many of the handicaps well enough to become a volunteer teacher's helper at the little White Schoolhouse for three years, and as a volunteer teacher's helper at Davis Monthan's Child Development Center for over 25 years, where she was affectionately known as "Miss Lori". Her character is best described as innocent, helpful, organized, creative and determined. She was never without a smile. Famous for her love of baseball, Lori's team was the Atlanta Braves. She was the light of the neighborhood and touched so many lives with her loving spirit. In addition to her parents, Lori leaves her brother, Robbie (Nancy); nephews, J. Michael (Shannan), Steve (Missy), David (Monica) and was a Great-Aunt to Colin, Brayden, Raegan and Kate as well as many cousins. If Lori had her way everything in the world would be her favorite color purple! She was loved and will always be remembered by her neighbors and many friends as a very caring and loving person. A Memorial Service celebrating Lori's life is planned for Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at VISTOSO FUNERAL HOME, 2285 E. Rancho Vistoso Blvd, Oro Valley. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to: Smile Train, P.O. Box 96231, Washington, DC 20090. www.VistosoFH.com
