Louise Baffert King

after 93 years of living a caring and adventurous life, "Weeze" passed away on February 4, 2013. Born to Philaberto and Anna Baffert on December 26, 1919. She received her education at St. Joseph Carondelet Academy and the Univ. of AZ. In 1940 she met and wed William King. She and Bill raised three daughters in Tucson and on their ranch. Louise worked part time for the Fed Bureau of Census for 25 years. She traveled the world and also had time to be involved with the Tucson Cowbelles, Newman Center Sustaining Board, Tucson Symphony Women's Assoc. and AZ Lung Assoc. She was preceded in death by her husband, William and her daughter, Margaret Jo King Hughes. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Cravens (David) and Joyce Van Deren (Michael Alldredge); four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Prayer Service will be on Friday, March 8, 2013, 7:00 p.m. ay St. Thomas More Chapel (UA Newman Ctr.) 1615 E. 2nd St., Tucson, AZ 85719 and Mass Saturday, March 9, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Chapel (UA Newman Ctr.).
