Mary Koppy

born September 7, 1927 in Detroit, MI to Polish immigrants Steven and Victoria Koss. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Mary passed away on June 4, 2013. Survived by her sons, Karl (Penny), Brian (Kathy) and Donald (Donna); nine grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Mary moved to Tucson with her husband, Ben, in 1977. She worked for the Department of Economic Security and was a founding and active member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husband, Ben and four brothers and four sisters. She often said, "God gives one and He takes one." Her great-grandson, Chance, was born May 27. To that, she would say, "God is good." Mary will be missed by her family and her many friends. Special thanks to Margie from Home Instead, Evercare Hospice, Janet Bruce, and the wonderful staff of Mountain View Retirement Village. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
