9/9/1931 - 5/10/2012 Iva Molnar 1/2/1929 - 11/2/2013

Iva Molnar joined her life partner and soul mate, Stephen Molnar on November 2, 2013. Stephen Molnar passed away on May 10, 2012. Steve and Iva were married in San Diego, California on April 19, 1952 and became partners in all phases of life. They raised three children and worked together on Anthropological research. Steve was a professor of Physical Anthropology at Washington University and Iva worked diligently by his side. Steve and Iva had tremendous enthusiasm for travel and adventure. They traveled to Australia, Hungary and Yugoslavia to conduct research for their books; Human Variation: Races, Types, and Ethnic Groups and Environmental Change and Human Survival. In retirement, Steve and Iva divided their time between Tucson, Arizona, where they had their home, and San Diego, California, where they kept their 34-foot sailboat, the Galah. Steve and Iva spent many wonderful days sailing along the southern California coast. After her husband's death, Iva resided at Broadway Proper. Iva's family is sincerely grateful for all of the care and kindness she received from the caregivers who worked there. Iva and Steve are survived by three children, Sylvia Molnar (Kniest), Steve Molnar, Jr. and Tracy Molnar and one grandchild, Jessica Kniest. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
