Maybe you’re sick of pumpkin by now, but we most certainly are not. If you’re in the mood for the taste of autumn, venture beyond the pumpkin spice latte.

Pumpkin cranberry bread ($9.50 per loaf), Beyond Bread, 3026 N. Campbell Ave. and other locations. Crunchy pumpkin seeds garnish this bread-almost-cake laced with tangy cranberries.

Pumpkin tamales ($4.99 for packs of three), served hot or sold frozen at Tucson Tamale Co., 2545 E. Broadway. Buy frozen ($6.69 for three) at AJ’s Fine Foods and other locations. These are like miniature pumpkin pies, more dessert than entree.

Pumpkin gelato ($3.75 for a small), Frost A Gelato Shoppe, 2905 E. Skyline Drive, Suite 286, and other locations. A cold pumpkin treat isn’t out of the question when you live in Arizona, especially not when that treat is cold, creamy and subtly pumpkin.
