The Prostate On-Site Project is scheduled to hold prostate cancer screenings in Tucson from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sept. 24 at 400 W. Congress St.

The medical mobile service will provide prostate cancer screenings to men 40 and older, or younger if there’s a history of prostate cancer in their family.

Appointments are required. Call 480-964-3013 or 1-800-828-6139. Space is limited and early signup is recommended.

The service will accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Net, Humana and United Healthcare insurance plans. Specialist co-pay fees may apply. The cost is $72 per screening for anyone without health insurance.

The screening includes a PSA — prostate specific antigen non-fasting blood test, a digital rectal exam, and consultation by a board-certified urologist.
