Bruce — Australian shepherd mix

Qualities: Brought in as a stray, beautiful Bruce has big, soulful eyes and a sweet disposition that’s sure to please!

Needs: If you already share your home with dogs, you’ll want them to meet Bruce before making him part of your family. Come find Bruce in the new Pup Tent and see if you have a love match!

Fee: Bruce has been at the center for more than two weeks, so his adoption fee is waived.

Sam — Lynx point mix

Age: 1½ years.

Qualities: Sweet Sam came to us through no fault of his own. His former family said this indoor cat has lived with adults, children, dogs and other cats!

Need: Sam needs a person who will let him slowly explore his new home and show him what the good life as a pampered cat is all about.

Fee: Sam’s adoption fee is just $30, and it includes his neuter surgery, vaccinations and microchip.

Age: 1 year.

Qualities: Atlas is a very mellow and gentle giant who loves people, small dogs, big dogs and his crate.

Qualities: Beatrice is an easygoing love sponge brimming with affection and personality.

Needs: A cozy retirement and proper care to manage her hyperthyroidism.

Age: 5 years.

Qualities: Born deaf and blind, Echo loves to go places and enjoys car rides. She has great manners and is housebroken. She loves people and gets along well with other dogs.

Needs: Because she can’t see or hear, she’d do well with a family with older kids.

Trixie — Tibetan terrier mix

Qualities: Trixie is a playful and friendly puppy. She has siblings looking for a home, too.

Qualities: Kelly is a 10-pound petite girl (we think she’s an Italian greyhound mix), who will melt your heart. This beautiful little girl needs a forever home.

Katrina — tabby

Age: 2 years.

Qualities: Do you have an FELV-positive cat who needs a playmate? Katie is a big lover, and plays well with other cats. Katie is healthy, happy and loves a tummy-rub, especially if you sit on the floor with her.

Needs: An indoor-only home.

Fee: $25 plus six months’ FELV-related vet expenses at Valley Verde Vet in Green Valley.

Franz – Pit bull

Age: 3 years.

Qualities: Franz has eyes that will steal your heart along with confidence, courage and a zest for life. Franz has had a difficult past — he was confiscated during a severe cruelty case and was forced to spend an entire year and four months at Pima Animal Care Center as evidence. The time spent in the kennels was hard on him. PACC contracted with us to ensure his behavioral rehabilitation and placement in the right home. He is the quintessential pit bull — resilient, courageous, strong and comical. Franz comes with lifelong training and support through Sol.Dog. He is crate-trained and social with most other dogs. He is house-trained, neutered, microchipped, licensed and up to date on vaccines.

Needs: Franz would do best in a home with no cats or young children due to his energy. He would love to find a forever family.

Angelina — Percheron cross mare

Age: 16 years.

Qualities: Has had ground training and some training under saddle.

Needs: Further training with an experienced person, lots of attention, a companion animal.

Dennis — shepherd-Staffie mix

Age: 2½ years.

Qualities: Dennis is 55 pounds of love and fun who would make a great companion for an active family. He gets along well with other dogs and is great at public outings.

Moneypenny — Medium-haired calico

Age: 5 years.

Qualities: Moneypenny is a stay-at-home kitty. She was relinquished because she, like many cats, didn’t travel well. She is meant to be a year-around cat for all Southern Arizona seasons.

Qualities: Petite, snuggly, sweet and playful. This pretty girl is very adaptable and will fit into any home.
