As the sweltering summer sun beats down on Tucson, clobbering the city with triple-digit temperatures, we turn our attention to higher elevations to beat the heat. Tucson is lucky to have Mount Lemmon, long considered the valley's playground during the hot months of the year. And other options exist for those willing to spend just a few hours on the road.
