Saturday will be a great day to find a deal in Tucson.
The Postal History Foundation, the Tucson Street Rod Association and the Tucson Woman's Club are a few of the organizations having sales.
"People come and they find all kinds of treasures," said Lena Rogers, the Postal History Foundation's executive assistant.
Shoppers would expect the Postal History Foundation, at 920 N. First Ave., to offer up stamps and philatelic supplies, but its semiannual yard sale also includes an eclectic assortment of everything from books, clothing and collectibles, to furniture, handicrafts, kitchen wares and art.
"There's so much," Rogers said.
Some deals can be had for as little as $1.
Most of the items have been donated to the nonprofit by people in the community.
The group uses proceeds from the sale to support educational services for more than 10,000 children each year through field trips and visits to classrooms.
The sale will run from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday on the foundation's patio. Shoppers are also welcome to explore the museum. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.
