Residents of Broadway Proper, an east-side retirement community, are teaming up with Old Pueblo Traders in a fashion show to support Big Brothers Big Sisters. The event starts at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Organizers say that children with a Big Brother or Big Sister are more likely to graduate from high school and less likely to begin using drugs or alcohol or engage in other negative behavior.

The event will be held at Broadway Proper, 400 S. Broadway Place. Make reservations at 296-3238. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.
