Migrant Walk

Walkers and supporters gathered under the shade tree giving speeches and expressing their support for the cause, as some of the names on crosses of migrants who lost their lives in the desert, that the marchers were carrying, were placed here under the tree here at Kennedy Park Sunday June 2, 2013, in Tucson, Arizona. This was the 10th annual walk which started a week ago in Sasabe, Sonora on Monday and ended the 75 mile walk today. The lady speaking on the right is one of the organizers, Marisol flores-Aguirre.
