The 355th Force Support Squadron at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., hosted a "Meet FSS Unbirthday Celebration."

This event gave Desert Lightning Team members a chance to learn about the facilities on base that belong to FSS.

"The purpose of events like the Unbirthday Party is really two-fold," said said CMSgt. Patrick Fry, 355th FSS superintendent. "We want to do something unexpected for the community...something to just help everyone relax and enjoy. Let's celebrate the 364 Unbirthdays instead of the one birthday every year. We also want to educate the community on the full range of services FSS provides."

Frances Pientack, 355th FSS marketing director and coordinator for this event helped bring the Alice in Wonderland theme of an Unbirthday Celebration come to life.

"There's no schedule, no rhyme or reason, it's just a fancy tea party," Pientack said. "This is totally free, we want the customer to come in and meet us."
