The University of Arizona president revised his tuition proposal today, one day ahead of the Arizona Board of Regents tuition vote on Thursday.
In the new proposal, tuition for an Arizona resident undergrad would cost $1,050, the $766 economic crisis surcharge would become permanent and fees would increase $310.
That's a 20 percent hike. (Students paid $6,855 this year.)
The original proposal, released in February, called for a 31 percent hike.
