The Children's Museum Tucson is among 30 finalists for a national award that recognizes institutions that offer innovative approaches to public service.

This month's 2nd Saturday is this coming weekend.

That means everyone can get into the Children's Museum Tucson, 200 S. Sixth Ave., for just $2.

Bruce Phillips, a professional children's musician, educator, entertainer and songwriter will perform at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
