Casa de los Ninos Thrift Store, 1302 E. Prince Road, will hold its annual 50 percent off sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. December 14.

Everything in the store will be 50 percent off. They have tons of Christmas decor and gift ideas including electronics, clothing, toys, household items, books, movies and linens.

If you like DIY gift ideas, a thrift store is a perfect place to go for supplies and ideas. I like to repurpose frames or pretty dishes. You can easily make a personalized plate or cake plate using dishes from a thrift shop.

In addition to the sale, customers can buy a ticket for $10 to get into the VIP event. The ticket will get you in the day before the sale - from 4 to 7 p.m. December 13, to take advantage of the 50 percent sale before it opens to the public.  There will also be light refreshments.

Get tickets at the thrift store during store hours, which are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

You can also get them at the Casa de los Ninos Administration Building, 1101 N. Fourth Ave. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
