Swimming season at Pima County's public swimming pools starts today.

It's a pretty inexpensive outing to take the kids swimming. Admision is $1 for kids age 17 and under; $3 for adults age 18 and over; $1.50 for adults age 65 and over, adults with disabilities and adults who meet the low income standard.

If you think you're going to go a lot, the 24-entry swim pass will save you $12.  It's $60 for adults and $20 for youth. Discount adult passes are $30 and discount youth passes are $10.
