If you are planning on participating in the Pima County Public Library's Summer Reading Program, don't forget to sign up Friday.

Go to any of the public libraries, sign up and get your board game tracker to mark your kids' progress. You also get a copy of Summer Reading Times for the family which lists events and activities scheduled throughout the summer.

This sounds like a wonderful program to keep the kids reading throughout the summer. Each time the kids reach a goal, you take them to the library to get stickers, activity books and more. Once they complete all of their goals, they can get a free pass for one admission to Breakers Water Park.

The program runs May 24 through July 20 and is free to participate.

Go to to find your nearest library.
