I came across a book called The $5 Dinner Mom One - Dish Dinners Cookbook by Erin Chase.

It has some interesting recipes to feed the family for $5 or less. They're not all unhealthy sounding either. Double score!

Spicy Quinoa with Corn, Beans and Lime; Sausage and Black Bean Soup; Chipotle Chicken Tacos and Slow Cooker chicken with Red Potatoes and Green Beans are among the tasty sounding recipes in the book.

I think I'm going to experiment with some of them and report the results here.

Do you have any super cheap go-to recipes you'd like to share?
