Here's a list of free and cheap things for the kids to do outside of the house this week.

Monday: Midday Monday Madness Movies at Joel D. Valdez library, 101 N. Stone Ave. Movies and cool treats. Teens only. Noon to 2 p.m. Free.

Tuesday: Pirate Day at Peter Piper Pizza's Summer Kid's Day. Pirate activities, lunch and a treasure hunt. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. $3.99 per child.

Wednesday: Art Sprouts at University of Arizona Museum of Art, 1031 N. Olive Road. Theme is Spaces and Places. Kids will read a story, move their bodies, look at art and do hands on activities. For kids ages 2 to 5. 10 a.m. Program is included with $5 adult admission. Admission for children is free. Call to reserve your spot. 626-9899. 

Thursday: Thursday Night Board Games at Bookmans Ina, 3733 W. Ina Road. Play board games from Bookmans' shelves or bring your own. 6 to 10 p.m. every Thursday. Free.

Friday: Wii Gaming at Flowing Wells Library, 1730 W. Wetmore Road. Kids can play Wii Sports, Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers, Guitar Hero and other games. All ages. 3 to 4:30 p.m. Free.

Saturday: Night Wings at Pima Air and Space Museum, 6000 E. Valencia Road. Take the family to enjoy the museum in the cooler evenings. There will be interactive activities in all four hangars. Tram tours and outdoor aircraft open until sundown. 5 to 9 p.m. Last admission 8 p.m. $10 for ages 13 and older. Free for kids ages 12 and under and members. 

Sunday: Science Sundays at Children's Museum Tucson, 200 S. Sixth Ave. Fun, hands-on science related activities every Sunday through September 1.  10 a.m. to 5 p.m. $2.
