If you don't have insurance and can't afford immunizations for the kids, free back to school immunization clinics start July 18 and include free dental and vision screenings.

The events are supported by a collaboration between the El Rio Community Health Center and the Pima County Health Department and are designed for kids ages 5 to 18 who need immunizations for the 2013-2014 school year.

Dental screenings and fluoride varnish treatments will be provided by El Rio's dental team and the Lions Club will provide free vision screenings.

There will also be a limited number of booster seats given away by Tucson Medical Center to qualified families.  AHCCCS providers and the Pima Community Access Program will be there with information about how to apply for services.

Uninsured children will be vaccinated for free. Families with health insurance should bring their shot records and insurance cards for billing.

Parents or legal guardians must be present at the event.
