The SmartSource Xpress app, which was originally just for iPad, is now available for iPhone.

The app delivers around $40 in savings at any given time on popular household items.  All you do is tap the screen, and savings are sent to the your' registered shopping cards and automatically redeemed at checkout using Direct2Card technology.

The D2C retail network is currently composed of over 3,000 stores across the country and is expected to expand significantly this year.

New features for the iPhone include a carousel for easier viewing, social media links that allow you to share coupons and it utilizes the iPhone's built in GPS with an opt-in feature that reminds you of the coupons you have when you're close to selected stores.

The application's coupons are refreshed with new offers on a weekly basis. The app is free.
