If you or someone in your family is a military veteran, there's a free workshop to learn about opportunities to work for Pima County at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Kino Veterans' Workforce Center, 2801 E. Ajo Way.

There will be representatives from the Pima County Human Resources Department and Pima County Sheriff's Department to talk about current job openings and navigating the hiring process. Also, the Pima County Public Library will discuss their project for entrepreneurs and Goodwill Industries will share job openings and recruitment information for their On the Job Training Opportunities for Veterans.

After the presentations, there's a computerized session to help veterans examine and discuss their transferable skills from military experiences in relation to new career choices.

To sign up, or for more information call 740-4646 or 243-6700.

Workshops are held every other Tuesday at the Kino Veterans' Workforce Center.
