For those of you who like to get a head start on planning your weekend, here are a few free things to do in the Tucson area Saturday.

Creation Clay with Adam Yeater at Bookmans, 6230 E. Speedway. Participants will learn how the artist creates his clay sculptures and be able to make their own to take home and paint. All materials are provided and the event is free. Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. For information, call 748-9555.

2nd Saturdays, Congress Street from Toole to Church Ave. Family friendly urban street festival for all ages. Kid's area is located at the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum, 414 N. Toole Ave. The Westside Rides Car club will be on Sixth Ave., north of Congress Street. Lots of vendors and live music. 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Free. For information, call 545-1102.

Festival of Arts at Oro Valley Marketplace on Oracle and Tangerine Roads. Browse the works of up to 120 artists in all mediums. There will be live music on the main stage, food vendors and family arts activities. Free. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Free. For information, call 797-3959, Ext. 0.

Founders' Day Celebration at Ora Mae Harn Park, 13250 N. Lon Adams Road, Marana. Parade starts at 9 a.m. Also, live entertainment, artisans and vendors, kids' zone and vintage tractor display and show. Food available for purchase. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Free. For information, call 682-3405.
