If you have gently used clothes that your kids no longer wear, why not donate them to a good cause?

GoodThreads Clothing Exchange collects and sorts children's clothing and distributes it to foster, adoptive and kinship parents for free at a monthly event. The organization helps between 110 and 195 children and families each month.

GoodThreads is critically low on clothing donations, and is seeking the public's assistance. There is a particular demand for school age kids clothing for boys and girls and winter items.

Those with donations can drop them off at Goodmans Interior Structures, 3925 N. Business Center Drive, near I-10 and Prince Road, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tax receipts will be given.

For more information, call Michele Wright at 881-1117.
