If you're looking to refresh your kids' wardrobes without spending a bunch of money, the Just Between Friends consignment sale started today.

The event happens twice a year, in January and July, at the Tucson Convention Center. Customers will find new and gently used baby, children's, teen and maternity items for about a third of the retail price.

This is a huge event. The July sale started out with 40,000 items. The cool thing about Just Between Friends is it's organized like a department store, with clothes sorted and hung on racks by size and gender. Toys, books, maternity and furniture are in separate departments.

Here are the details:

10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. Admission is $2.

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow. Free admission.

7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Free admission and it's half price day.

First-time parents, grandparents, military moms and teachers can get first pick by attending the pre-sale Wednesday. You have to sign up for a free account online to register. Click here to do that.

TCC is located at 260 S. Church Ave. Parking is free at TCC.
