Pima Animal Care Center, 4000 N. Silverbell Road, is waiving adoption fees for any dog or cat to all first responders — whether they're police, fire, military, paramedics or emergency medical technicians.

A $15 licensing fee for all dogs still applies.

Tucson Cold Wet Noses has offered to pay for dental needs, blood work and spay/neuter services for senior animals up for rescue for the month of September. This special is available for anyone in the community.
