If you have overdue book fines from the Pima County Public Library, you can have those waived by donating non-perishable food items.

The library will waive $1 in fees for every food item brought in, up to $10.

All donations will be given to the Community Food Bank or its affiliates in Ajo, Arivaca, Catalina, Green Valley and Marana.

Take food items along with your library card to any of the Pima County Public Libraries' customer service desks and have your fines cleared.

Food for Fines takes place now through Saturday.
