Local merchants from four districts along the streetcar line — Downtown, Fourth Ave., Main Gate and Mercado San Agustin — have come together to offer a discount program for those of us here during the summer.

The Connect in the City discount card offers discounts, savings and promotions at over 100 local businesses. Pick one up at MakerHouse, 283 N. Stone Ave., for $5, or you can purchase it online and have it mailed to you for $7. Click here to purchase a card online.

The card is valid during the months of June, July and August, and there is no limit on the number of times you use it.

Half off appetizers, excluding wings, at Frog & Firkin.

Free dessert with purchase of an entree at Downtown Kitchen & Cocktails, 135 S. Sixth Ave.

Get 25 percent off your purchase at La Fashionista, 45 S. Sixth Ave.

Get 15 percent off any purchase at Blu A Wine & Cheese Stop, 100 S. Avenida del Convento.

Get a 10 to 30 percent discount on select items at Creative Ventures Craft Mall, 522 N. Fourth Ave.

Buy one entree, get one half off at Delectables, 533 N. Fourth Ave.
