If you want your kids to be enrolled in the Healthy 2 B Me summer camp put on by the University of Arizona Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, but can't afford the $345, there are scholarships available.

The scholarships are reserved for children who could not participate without financial assistance. Students awarded a scholarship will only be required to pay a $25 fee to cover food costs.

Assistance is based on financial need. If your child receives free or reduced cost lunch at school, a letter from your child's teacher or principal should be turned in with your scholarship application.

There are two separate sessions, each a week long: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday June 24-28 and July 15-19.

Sessions teach children how to be healthy and how to help their communities be healthy as well. They will learn about food preparation and cooking, yoga, zumba, dance, swimming, personal hygiene, sun safety, dental health and team building experiences.
