Children's Museum Tucson is hosting Family SCIFest between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday.  

The event is geared for families and children of all ages to see the fun side of science. Kids will be able to participate in hands-on demonstrations and experiments in aero space sciences, astronomy, biology, ecoogy, engineering, environmental sciences and physics. 

Activities will take place inside the museum, in the courtyard and on the lawn along 6th Ave.

The museum will also be accepting donations to assist the community of Newtown, Connecticut, to create their own children's museum, Everwonder.

Admission to the museum is free all day. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
