Take your elementary aged kids to Woods Memorial Library, 3455 N. First Ave.,  at 4:30 p.m. today to work with teen mentors on words and expressive art.

Word Journeys helps teen build job and leadership skills, while working with elementary students in workshops that help the kids think, write, draw, play and act around a theme.

The event is free and there is an open house at 4 p.m.
